Indian Masale Potatoes

Indian Masale Potatoes

A medley of roasted spices such as cumin, turmeric, and coriander folded into Simply Potatoes Northern Gold Potatoes and ghee.

Dietary Needs:

Servings:  8


Ghee or Clarified Butter, melted
2 Tbsp.
Cumin Seeds
1 Tbsp.
Onion, minced
2 oz.
Garlic, minced
2 tsp.
Ginger, minced
2 tsp.
Cumin, ground
½ tsp.
Turmeric, ground
1 ½ tsp.
Coriander, ground
¼ tsp.
Cilantro, chopped
½ cup


  1. Heat Mashed Potatoes.
  2. In a medium sauté pan melt ghee and cook cumin seeds for 30 seconds.
  3. Add onions and cook until translucent.
  4. Add garlic, ginger and cumin, turmeric and coriander and cook for 30 more seconds or until fragrant.
  5. Combine spice blend with Mashed Potatoes.
  6. Stir in ½ of the cilantro.
  7. Transfer to serving dish. Garnish with remaining ¼ cup of cilantro.
