Sweet Potato Casserole Pizza

Sweet Potatoes shine in this indulgent pie. Spread sweet potatoes for the sauce and top with marshmallows and a sweet crumble of butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.

Dietary Needs:

Ingredients

12-inch pizza dough (parbaked crust or fresh dough)
1
Butter, melted
1 Tbsp.
Turbinado or raw sugar
2 Tbsp.
Unsalted butter, softened
4 Tbsp.
Brown sugar
4 Tbsp.
Flour
5 Tbsp.
Ground cinnamon
½ tsp.
Mini marshmallows
1 cup
Toasted pecans
1/2 cup

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats.
  2. Prepare the dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. Brush the crust with 1 Tbsp. of melted butter and 2 Tbsp. of turbinado sugar.
  4. Prep Crumble: Combine remaining butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  5. Pre-bake the dough in the oven for 5 minutes, until it begins to firm up but isn’t fully cooked.
  6. Add sauce spread a thin layer of mashed sweet potatoes over the crust.
  7. Sprinkle the prepared crumble over the mashed sweet potatoes, followed by toasted pecans.
  8. Return the pizza to the oven and bake until marshmallows are slightly toasted and sugar is lightly caramelized on crust.
  9. Slice and serve hot.
