Smokey Blue Cheese and Steak Chips

Crisp and flavorful housemade chips are the base of this craveable menu item. Topped with smokey blue cheese, seared steak and drizzled with balsamic glaze, this shareable appetizer will kick off a memorable meal your guests will want to come back for.

Dietary Needs:

Ingredients

Smoked blue cheese, broken into ½ inch crumbles​
4 oz or approximately 1 cup
Seared steak pieces
4 oz or approximately 1 cup
Balsamic glaze
4 Tbsp.

Directions

  1. Deep fry potato slices using the following method:
  2. Drain potatoes for 30 seconds.
  3. Deep fry 1 lb. per basket at 350°F for 5 minutes.
  4. Drain and lightly season with salt immediately.
  5. Preheat broiler on high.
  6. Spread single layer of chips on larger platter or foil lined baking sheet.
  7. Top evenly with blue cheese crumbles and steak pieces.
  8. Broil on center rack until cheese is mostly melted.
  9. Remove from broiler, drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  10. Serve immediately.
