Moroccan Potato Crisps

Bold and vibrant Moroccan flavor add a global spin on housemade chips. Combine a blend of lentil flour and Ras El Hanout – toss with chips and serve with a savory yogurt dipping sauce for a unique and deliciously easy appetizer.

Ingredients

Lentil Flour
1/4 cup
Ras el Hanout Seasoning
2 Tbsp.
Kosher Salt
1 tsp.

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the lentil flour with the ras el hanout and kosher salt; mix well.
  2. Deep fry Potato Slices using the following method:
  3. Drain potatoes for 30 seconds
  4. Deep fry 1 lb. per basket at 350°F for 5 minutes
  5. Toss fried chips with seasoning.

Harissa Yogurt

Ingredients

Yogurt
1/2 cup
Harissa Paste
1 Tbsp.
Honey
1/2 tsp.
Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp.
Black Pepper, ground
1 Tbsp.

Directions

  1. Combine honey, yogurt, harissa paste and seasonings together in a small bowl.
  2. Serve each 4 oz portion with 2 Tbsp. of harissa yogurt.
