Sweet Potato Bisque

This creamy bisque is loaded with mashed sweet potatoes and aromatic spices.

  1. In hot stockpot, add oil, onion and garlic. Cook until onions are lightly caramelized.
  2. Add chicken broth, sweet potatoes and seasonings. Simmer 20 minutes.
  3. With hand mixer, purée bisque until smooth.
  4. Add heavy cream. Simmer another 20 minutes.
  5. Serve hot. Garnish with salsa. 

  • Serve with 3-cheese grilled cheese sandwich
  • Daypart suggestion: lunch through dinner
