Our Southern Comfort recipe adds the richness of poached eggs.
- Deep fry chicken cutlet until golden brown.
- Toast waffles and place cooked chicken cutlet on top of 1 waffle. Drizzle syrup over cutlet, and then place 1 waffle on top of chicken.
- Poach egg and place on top of waffle. Sprinkle bacon bits over egg and waffle.
For bourbon maple syrup, dissolve 1 tablespoon brown sugar into 1/3 cup melted butter, add 1/3 cup Southern Comfort, ignite and let simmer for 1 minute, add 1 1/2 cup maple syrup and let simmer for another minute.
