Royal Gin Fizz

It’s the egg that makes our royal gin fizz royal! Try this cold, refreshing, quantity recipe on your beverage foodservice menu with Davidson’s Safest Choice® pasteurized shell eggs.


  1. Fill shaker with ice.
  2. Add egg, lemon juice, gin, and gomme.
  3. Shake and strain into a chilled highball glass (8-12 ounce) filled with ice cubes.
  4. Top with soda water.
  5. Garnish with maraschino cherries, if desired.

To make gomme/simple syrup

Pour 1 tablespoon sugar into 1 tablespoon hot water. Stir until dissolved. Allow to cool.


May substitute club soda or lemon-lime soda for soda water for a sweeter flavor.
