Root Veg Mashed Potatoes
This healthier mashed option has mashed turnips, parsnips and celery mixed in.
- In small pan, combine butter, cream and nutmeg. Heat over low heat for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Do not boil.
- In large baking dish, combine mashed potatoes, turnips, parsnips, and celeriac.
- Cooked mashed potato mixture using preferred method.
- Using paddle attachment, mix potato mixture on low speed. Slowly pour hot cream and butter mixture into potato mixture until combined. Remove bowl from mixer.
- Remove bowl from mixer.
- Adjust seasoning as needed.
- For another option, use Simply Potatoes® Sweet Potato Mashed.
- Top with additional nutmeg.
