Brown Butter Mash Potatoes

These classic traditional mashed potatoes receive a sophisticated burst. Toasty and nutty brown butter is whipped in with more cream. These aren’t your average mash potatoes.

  1. Heat MFI Simply Potatoes Traditional Mashed Potatoes. 
  2. Stir in Gouda and heavy cream.
  3. In a small sauté pan, melt butter until browned, careful not to burn. 
  4. Stir in 4 Tbsp. of browned butter, reserving 2 Tbsp.
  5. Transfer to serving dish.  Garnish with remaining 2 Tbsp. browned butter and chives.
