Royal Gin Fizz
It’s the egg that makes our royal gin fizz royal! Try this cold, refreshing, quantity recipe on your beverage foodservice menu with Davidson’s Safest Choice® pasteurized shell eggs.
- Fill shaker with ice.
- Add egg, lemon juice, gin, and gomme.
- Shake and strain into a chilled highball glass (8-12 ounce) filled with ice cubes.
- Top with soda water.
- Garnish with maraschino cherries, if desired.
To make gomme/simple syrup
Pour 1 tablespoon sugar into 1 tablespoon hot water. Stir until dissolved. Allow to cool.
May substitute club soda or lemon-lime soda for soda water for a sweeter flavor.
