Indian Masale Potatoes
Featuring Northern Gold Mashed Potatoes with an Indian flavor profile. A medley if roasted spices such as cumin, turmeric, and coriander folded in red skin mashed potatoes and ghee. This side dish would pair well with garam masala marinated tandoori chicken skewers.
- Heat MFI Simply Potatoes Northern Gold Mashed Potatoes.
- In a medium sauté pan melt ghee and cook cumin seeds for 30 seconds.
- Add onions and cook until translucent.
- Add garlic, ginger and cumin, turmeric and coriander and cook for 30 more seconds or until fragrant.
- Combine spice blend with MFI Simply Potatoes Northern Gold Mashed Potatoes.
- Stir in ½ of the cilantro.
- Transfer to serving dish. Garnish with remaining ¼ cup of cilantro.
